I'm actually all about state rights . One of the reasons Europeans dominated the last few centuries is that it's geography made uniting into a single empire very hard say compared to China. These allowed countries to keep their own form of government and allowed them to compete with each other and copy each others good ideas.
Cut these departments? Is he serious? Departments of Education, Commerce, Energy, Interior and Housing and Urban Development.
competing with fast growing nations in asia and elsewhere, so lets weaken the federal goverment and let the state all individually have to handle trade, education, energy, forests and mineral resources, standards, science research, etc
expecially education, its weak enough as is, but why the hell would we want to let local communities "teach their own kids"... I always thought this was the stupidest thing ever. Many parts of the US would teach their kids complete bullshit. We are losing out on teaching science and technology to the rest of the world and now we are going to any state or community have complete control? So they can teach whatever the f they want.
