I don't see it. Blasted CRAPPY EYEBALLS!
Is this the same witchcraft that some people use for their favicons?

Joel | 2010-06-11 9:31:26 | Sub-Pixel Fonts
Yes one might say it is the "Bees Knees."

I didn't know this was possible and I think it's very clever.

Agreed.

But this guy just threw a quick demo up to show how it worked. A browser/OS check would be pretty darn easy to do.

Yeah, it was totally mac-esque buttons and I was in Chrome, so I was like no ways.

Oh, and one point of note: they got the buttons wrong, that is one thing that tipped me off...the buttons look like those from safari.

Oh wow that is clever. I tabbed away to read some things, and when I went back, I was like "wtf, huh, I don't remember going to gmail...", it didn't even occur to me that it wasn't gmail until I saw the URL.

a) there are other ways to contribute to society than marketable skills
And those are taken into account when immigration status is considered. It comes down to "what are you bringing to us?"

Look, unemployment in the United States is hovering right around 10% and has been for quite some time. While I understand that these people want to come here and "get a piece of the American dream", what they need to understand is that we just don't have anything to give them. We're having trouble giving "The American Dream" to the people that already live here...

Some people make the argument that illegals take jobs that American's "don't want". These people likely failed every economics class they've ever taken. It's called a "market economics" and it should be taught on the first day or so. It isn't that Americans don't want these jobs, it's that they don't want them for $6.50/hr. Pay me enough money, and I'll scoop horse shit all day and I HATE horses.

The result of this is a polarization of the socioeconomic spectrum. The poor are forced poorer by people that have decided not to live up to the social contract of an acceptable living standard, and the rich get richer by exploiting that.
